The US media is mainly mum on the explosive UNC FOIA

If, in fact, COVID-19 originated from a lab rather than from nature, it could have been part of a biodefense strategy to develop a vaccine against human pathogens or a bioengineered virus from another country. Keep in mind that COVID-19, though it spreads rapidly, is not particularly lethal (there were more than 700 million documented cases worldwide with around 7 million deaths).
British writer Nicholas Wade called it the 'The Story of the Decade’ but proceeded to spin the details. He mentioned “humanized mice” twice, but SARS2 doesn’t infect mice. He claimed that the CCP funded DARPA Defuse to protect the American warfighter based in Asia?
Some observers believe that when DARPA declined to fund the project, the Chinese members of the group may have decided to find their own financing and go ahead unilaterally. This is plausible, as Dr Ralph Baric and Dr Shi Zhengli were collaborators but also rivals. With Baric blocked for lack of DARPA funds, Shi may have seen the chance to race ahead if she could acquire funds from Chinese sources.
Wade falsely claimed Baric “taught” Shi how to engineer SARS2. Wade now calls Defuse a “recipe” for her to follow. Shi also had zero comments on the Defuse draft.

What do the experts know about the origin of COVID-19?
The scientific ‘experts’ gave a likelihood of 77% zoonosis!
The devil is in the details. In this case the details are on page 49 in the annex of the survey. Over half the experts knew about the Tony Fauci funded wet market papers, but only 22% knew about the (Fauci funded?) DARPA Defuse document.
And 33% of the ‘experts’ claimed to know about ‘fake study’ that didn’t exist!

Reason magazine interviewed the sharp USRTK reporter, who issued a FOIA to the USGS for the explosive UNC emails. But they ignored the Baric elephant in the room, since he wanted to develop a bat vaccine on US soil (using expensive USGS technology) but test in Wuhan.
The USRTK reporter noted it was her last report, since she fears her future as a journalist, which reminded me of this awkward exchange regarding Baric. The Intercept reporter actually wanted the UNC question cut from the 2022 interview (13:09), and the reporter asking the tough question was cut from show a month later.
An NIH contractor uploaded the SARS2 sequence to its own database, almost two weeks before China declared a pandemic, but the NIH deleted it.

The first known publication of the sequence of the Covid virus, called SARS-CoV-2, came on Jan. 11, 2020, after Chinese authorities shared the information with the World Health Organization. In addition, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta says the virus sequence was shared within China with China’s equivalent of the CDC on Jan. 5 but not made known globally to scientists.
The sequence that Dr Lili Ren provided on December 28, 2019 was never published and was deleted from the NIH database on Jan. 16, 2020, after NIH, following its protocols, asked her for more technical details and she didn’t respond. It is unclear why Ren didn’t respond.
On Jan. 12, NIH received and published a SARS-CoV-2 sequence from another source.
“The sequence published on Jan. 12, 2020, was nearly identical to the sequence that was submitted by Lili Ren,” said the NIH rep.
And the NIH story only came out after threat of subpoena.
Dr Lili Ren from Beijing was also on that weird Oct 2019 teleconference (below) with NIAID, UNC, Duke and Wuhan.
Notice Luke Hamel (highlighted above) was the same EcoHealth assistant on the 2018 DARPA Defuse meeting with Baric (below).
Luke made the 293 vs 279 typo. The typo led us to investigate Baric’s patent on the SARS2 genome. But 18 months later assistant Luke Hamel is on a NIAID call with Wuhan and UNC.
Dr Ren in Beijing was basically a NIAID contractor heavily involved with NIAID’s coronavirus research and UNC.
Early in the outbreak, another Chinese scientist uploaded the SARS2 genome to the same NIH database on Jan 5, 2020, so five days before official announcement.

Dr. Zhang (from Shanghai) flouted the (Chinese) ban and uploaded the SARS2 genome to a public database hosted by the U.S. National Institutes of Health. But the database requires a lengthy review of new genomes, and so days passed without the information going online.
Dr Zhang even repeated this claim to Time Magazine.
Dr Zhang insists he first uploaded the genome to the U.S. National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) on Jan. 5—an assertion corroborated by the submission date listed on the U.S government institution’s Genbank. “When we posted the genome on Jan. 5, the United States certainly knew about this virus,” he says. But it can take days or even weeks for the NCBI to look at a submission, and given the gravity of the situation and buoyed by the urging of colleagues, Zhang chose to expedite its release to the public, by publishing it online.
I think we eliminate Dr Zhang and Dr Ren as suspects, but what about the NIH?
Did Baric ever write that section showing how the vaccination work would not drive evolution in a negative way ? If so I must of missed it or it went over my head. I am convinced one of the purposes of mass vaccination (animal or human) with non sterilizing immunity vaccines may in fact be GOF
