Rand Paul is suspicious of Rocky Mountain Lab

Not surprising to some of us, Fauci’s NIAID was not only briefed on Wuhan’s desire to create this virus but was also listed as a participant in the initial DEFUSE pitch. Fauci’s Rocky Mountain Lab (RML) was named a partner alongside the Wuhan Institute of Virology in the proposal.
We now know that over 15 government agencies, as well as the investigators Peter Daszak, Ralph Baric, Ian Lipkin and scientists at NIAID’s Rocky Mountain Lab, all knew of the Wuhan Institute of Virology’s desire to create a coronavirus with a furin cleavage site, a virus pre-adapted for human transmission. And no one spoke up. We only know of this DEFUSE proposal because a whistleblower, one brave Marine, Lt. Col. Joseph Murphy, came forward with the truth.

Dr. Rand Paul is more blunt on Fox News and in his Senate letterhead note to NIAID:
I recently obtained documents revealing that Vincent Munster of NIAID’s Rocky Mountain Laboratory was listed as a partner in the DEFUSE proposal presented at the PREEMPT Proposers Day, alongside Wuhan Institute of Virology, University of North Carolina Baric Lab, Columbia University Lipkin Lab, and Duke-NUS.
Rand put RML in all 15 letters to all 15 agencies. He is flexing his insider information, and it sounds like he read my open letter! Fauci’s lab in Montana was already working on two of five winning DARPA Preempt teams in 2018. Daszak already issued a legalese denial copying Fauci’s playbook: “This project proposal was never submitted to any other federal agencies for consideration.” Daszak, Linfa, and Baric pitched their revised DARPA Defuse proposal to Fauci in 2019 during NIAID’s $82M CREID project.
What were the 15 government agencies discussing?
Here is Rand’s source for the 15 federal agencies that were aware of the DARPA project but not the Defuse proposal. Major Murphy leaked that proposal, finding it in a top-secret folder on DARPA’s campus. Who knows how many bureaucrats knew about the Defuse proposal? I am guessing thousands (USGS, DARPA, Duke, etc). Notice Rand calls Murphy a “whistleblower,” something the US media will not do.

“Scalable approaches” are code words for self-spreading vaccines.
Laos update
The new name in this information is Dr Brett Forshey of Global Emerging Infections Surveillance (GEIS). In 2017, the DoD database funded the collection of Laos Banal bat samples. In 2018, Baric published a piece of the Banal-52 genome. It’s the nearest progenitor to SARS2.
Your Covid antibodies protect against those Laos bat samples. Feel free to ask Dr Brett Forshey to release the 2017 collection. In 2021, Laos researchers republished their results without his GEIS funding.
Fauci denied funding DARPA Defuse
The prepared denial leaned on the phrase: “That grant.”

There were two coverup teleconferences
NIAID first mentioned Munster, Baric, and Daszak on Jan 27, 2020. Fauci did not remember them, but this notification was before the Feb 1st secret teleconference.
Most lab leak articles focus on Jeremy Farrar’s Feb 1st, 2020, international teleconference for the juicy coverup story. But the real coverup was the domestic teleconference on Feb 3, 2020.
Who wanted to call the FBI?
Unlike the international meeting on Feb 1st, 2020, Tony Fauci organized this domestic meeting, which included the FBI, CIA, Baric, and Daszak.
It is obvious that Kristian Andersen wanted to call the FBI on Jan 31, 2020, but it is unclear if Fauci followed through. NASEM invited an FBI agent to the Feb 3rd meeting, but Fauci had already set the natural origin narrative in motion on Feb 4th. The FBI assigned the same agent from the Feb 3, 2020 meeting to Rocky Mountain Lab for their DARPA Preempt project.
A NIAID bat vaccine accident
Buried in the White Coat Waste FOIA about small lab accidents was a big event. Colorado State University is inoculating its Jamaican fruit bat colony with MERS vaccines. Unfortunately, something similar happened to Dani in Wuhan.
A researcher was transferring a bat to the biosafety cabinet with their left hand, which had the standard double gloves plus a leather glove. The right hand got too close to the bat and the bat caught the right hand and double gloves with its mouth. The researcher then returned the bat to its cage, as per protocol, and left the room. The gloves were then removed and a small red spot was discovered on the right index finger. It was washed with soap and water and excised. It was then cleaned with iodine. The researcher then proceeded to exit the BSL-3 laboratory and contacted their PI. This bat had been vaccinated against Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV). The vaccine was a protein antigen and not recombinant. The bat had then been challenged with MERS-CoV that came from a human isolate five days prior (wildtype, 2014). The bat did not show any clinical signs of MERS.
This bat is from a CSU breeding colony of healthy bats that has been closed for over a decade. The researcher did not develop any symptoms.

Kristian Andersen only lied about RaTG13's publication date of Jan 24, 2020. He claimed (via Scripps) that Shi published RaTG13 after the Feb 1st teleconference, but he used it to prove SARS2 was engineered during that conference. This piece of RaTG13 evidence was the biological tattletale, leading them to believe SARS2 was (potentially) engineered.

Reader Q&A on lab mice and Patient Zero
UNC had numerous lab accidents involving coronaviruses. If you search the "Laboratory-Acquired Infection Database," for Covid-19, it turns up 3 accidents involving laboratory mice in BSL-3 labs. All three occurred in Taiwan; 2 from 2021 and 1 from 2020.
Link #1 ironically shows that hACE2 mice are safe and proves Baric's counterintuitive point. There were 3-4 accidents with mice, but no UNC researchers were infected. Search for the word “sickened” in the ProPublica article. The Taiwan lab accident was a later variant (i.e., Delta?) that could infect lab mice.
Yan Zhu was identified as one of the earliest people to become infected with Sars2. A search on PubMed shows Yan as co-author of at least 40 publications while working at WIV.
Link #2 was a David Asher rumor. He was at the State Department in 2020-21. It came from “two foreign government scientists” who talked to “someone” inside the WIV. He’s admitted there’s no documentation, which “cannot be verified, and their motives are unclear.” He also got one of the three names backward; it's “Ping Yu,” not Yu Ping.
One of the papers was Baric and Shi's paper on using HFH4 mice to characterize Sars2.
It showed how the hACE2 mice were infected: "The HFH4-hACE2 mice were intranasally infected with 3 × 10^4 TCID 50 virus." A high dose of SARS2 was shoved up the nose of lab mice. No breathing, transmission, or aerosol with humanized mice. Come to your own conclusion as to why Baric, Shi, Ben Hu, etc. published an hACE2 paper so early in the pandemic?

Humanized mice are very poor models for the respiratory transmission of coronaviruses. Washing out a mouse's nose and squirting it up the nose of another is not respiratory transmission. Marc Eloit et al showed such experiments with Laos Banal samples do not produce a furin cleavage site. This is part of the reason Rootclaim lost the debate. They claimed humanized mice were the intermediary species.
The intermediary species for SARS-CoV-2 will be found in Rocky Mountain Lab.
Everyone involved in performing, funding, or approving gain-of-function research deserves hard time in prison for mass crimes against humanity.
